At the end of FFXIV you have many options on how to spend your time. You could raid, craft, PvP, do housing, or you can go for the glory and have every relic in game. Even if you just had your eye on one or are the more hardcore relic collector we have the guides for you! below are the last 4 expansion's guides and there will be a 5th once the EW expansion's relic is underway...
THIS SECTION IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION!
A Realm Reborn Relic
Zodiac Weapon - This was introduced in Patch 2.0. Some ask if this weapon is worth it and the answer is always "yes".
The Grind - It's not the longest grind in comparison to the Eurekan relics in Stormblood. However, this one costs the most Gil and the grind is not as fun as the others. |
Heavensward Relic
Anima Weapon - This relic was added in Patch 3.15. This weapon has stood the test of time and some would argue has the best look of all the relics in FFXIV.
The Grind - This depends on your character's jobs. If you are a crafter it can be faster than if you do not craft when you hit the sands but is one you can passively do while leveling. |
Stormbood Relic
Elemental Weapon - Introduced in Patch 4.25 along with "Eureka". This has its own zones and a massive 56 person raid that you can do in our discord, THL™.
The Grind - Currently, this relic is the longest grind and there is a level sync. SE has changed Eureka stats and nerfed requirements on steps but this relic still takes a long time from start to finish. |
Shadowbringers Relic
Resistance Weapon - Introduced in Patch 5.35 along with "Bozjan Southern Front". Multiple zones and a 48 person Savage Raid which THL™ often hosts. (Not a requirement to complete the relic).
The Grind - Though it is similar to the Eurekan journey, it is shorter and has 3 dungeons. This relic has the option to grind in the new zone or do old content. Added bonus of leveling your jobs alongside this relic. |
