Notorious Monsters

Guide/images by: Countess Orlandu THL™ Admin

Under Construction

Notorious Monsters
Throughout Eureka there are numerous fates that contain Notorious Monsters that will give you loot required to complete your eureka weapon, gear for BA or items that combined together can get you extra magicite. Most monsters are pretty run of your mill but for some they are very pristine and as we jump into the world of NM's we will talk about them in the order of level. They are broken into 4 categories by zone you will find them in (Anemos, Pagos, Pyros, Hydatos).

Any questions please reach out to
@Eureka Mentor in THL™ Discord.

Facts and Other NM Info

Eureka Trains:

Each zone does trains, not every time you get in zone will there be someone conduction one but it can be done. These consist of one player that relay's co-ordinates on where to "Prep" (this means what NM you are going to try and spawn and mobs you need to kill to get that one to spawn). Once a NM spaws they will mark it on the "Eureka Tracker" and they will relay the info to the instance in shout chat with a pull timer (PT).

Etiquette: The way we play in THL is that if you want to get in on the NM be at the prep. If there is a pull timer we always try to our best to wait for that time before we engage even if someone else is attacking it. We don't control others actions, and do not attempt to police anyone in the game. We choose to wait until the pull time because one person can't take down a full NM on their own so we can keep the NM up longer by not engaging. We don't shout negatively about it the only thing we shout is: We noticed that a lot of people do not like how fast that last NM was engaged, if you are like me then join me in waiting until the pull timer even if someone pulls it before the shouted time. This should allow others time to make it to the NM and get credit too."

Train Conductors:
These are the players that actually conduct the train its self. If you are interested in becoming one you can we have some info that can help you.

FAQ:
Q: Is it hard to conduct?
A: No, its very easy. you just need to learn how to update the tracker. (links below)

Q: What if I don't know all the NM's Names / Locations?
A: You don't need to know that, the locations are on the tracker and if you dont know the name of the NM that spawned when you hover your cursor over the NM in game it will tell you the level of the NM and you can find that beside the name on the tracker.

Q: What if I don't have macro's for it?
A: That's fine we have some useful ones below you can use.

Q: What if some people prep other NM's?
A: We cant control other peoples play style, if people don't want to join your train that's okay too. just offer and you will notice people will show up and if other suggest another NM listen to the feedback.

Q: how do I know if an instance is new or not?
A:  In your party list at the top there is an option to see who is in the instance top right, from that you can see who has been in the instance the longest as you are in there for 180 min if someone has been in the instance for a short time like 5 min. then its a new instance.

Q: What if I want to conduct but someone else is already?
A: In this case you may ask but respect other conductors is the name of the game. You should support them by seconding their shouts from time to time with a "OMW to (Conductors name)'s Prep at <flag>".
